Idols didn't disgust her. Like many people who do not know shit about idol industry she just went by stereotypes and those really are not appealing, especially for someone like Mori. She befriended a bilingual expat who voices a virtual idol in a small time chuuba agency and changed her opinion about the whole thing after learning more about the culture. That was also how she was introduced to vtubers more intimately, although not to Hololive.

Cute narratives in the last paragraph. For one, if she only cared about music she would drop her side gigs and focus on that instead of spreading too thin. I imagine many Deadbeats would actually prefer that to whatever the hell she is doing with her life.
