Also, Ryukishi is apparently a very big FPS gamer for some reason, as well as a PC gamer, which is really rare in Japan.
There's a part in RGD where a character talks about how video game villains are culturally influenced by history, basically the same way FPS are influenced by making Muslims or Russians the main bad guys all the time, because they're Merrica's historical enemies.
