It took a whole twenty minutes - first Mion rubbed oil around the edge of the opening in the bag, but that didn't work, so they decided to loosen the drawstring by going from the other side and first loosening the knot instead. Keiichi got his thick Swiss army knife out and forced the spike attachment into the knot up to the hilt and wiggled it about, pushing back and forth until the knot undid itself. After that, the recorder slipped out easily!"
