Typically the way to win a salamander as a wife is to earn her respect in battle. But there's a loophole.
You see, according to the MGE canon, mamono, if they live with a human man for long enough, they'll naturally start to recognize him as their husband, even if they had zero interest in that man before. It takes a couple months, but they'll start to see the man as their husband despite never having even hugged him. So, the plan is to hire a salamander body guard for a couple months, travel with her through some mildly cold land, share a tent, van, or whatever. Make it a long journey. After a couple months in, she'll make a move on you as she naturally sees you as a husband. What better way to consummate your marriage to her than hot, steamy love in a tent on a cool night by a campfire, in the forest, away from any disturbances.

Saves you all the trouble of having to train, fighting, and all the nonsense. This way, you get a long vacation with your wife-to-be, and none of the bullshit.
