Planetarian, Saya no Uta, and Yume Miru Kusuri are some decent beginner titles that are also short. For longer stuff you could try Tsukihime and Steins;Gate.

The agenda of the Large Grays can be broken down to two goals, which relate to each other hand-in-hand. They are:

1. Complete world take over
2. Eradicate 5/6ths to 7/8ths of the world's population by 2029

The remaining humans living on this earth will be used as cattle for the Large Grays (hereon referred to as LG) while they continue to live below the Earth's surface. They do not feed on human flesh and bone, but rather, on the adrenochrome, found in the adrenal glands of the human brain. There are around 100,000 children missing in the United States, and many believe that these children are in underground LG cities living in a constant state of horror, as they produce the needed chemicals for the LGs. I don't know for certain if the LGs need adrenochrome to sustain themselves, as I personally believe they need it as a reproductive agent.

The LGs have been under our surface for at least 400-500 years, but maybe longer. There is no factual evidence of how they got here in the first place, which in my opinion, is the most disconcerting face to this whole issue. The most accepted belief is that they crashed here while exploring planets for resources, and have been living here underground ever since. Sometimes I like to speculate, uncomfortably, that they have been here much longer than that. That the large grays have been here for millions upon millions of years, and that they have seen the dinosaurs rise and fall, and watched with curiosity the evolution of man. But why would they idly sit back and watch a creature evolve to a state that could potentially cause them harm? Even wipe out their own race? I speculate that they in fact propagated the evolution of man, seeing the potential our adrenal glands might have for them. Whatever the case, its truly disturbing to live with the knowledge that a superior race considers you sustenance and is attempting to farm your species.

>no mention of Saya No Uta

A game where brain damage causes you to romance a sinister sociopathic space alien because everything else looks like sliding piles of shit and putrefying meat wasn't weird enough for them?

Very well then. Raring right now. ETA unknown. I also have a meeting to attend later today, so who knows when I'll actually be able to post the finished link. Take it easy until then.

So is the translation actually progressing or have they given up? It's been a while since they gave us an update.
