This might not be the correct place to ask this, but I've been wondering something while playing this game. Now bear with me, I know that this is a little far fetched, but it nags me a bit in a general manner.

Perhaps I'm just missing something, but is Kawakami City actually placed on top of a border (Tama River)? Is something like that even possible? You'd get a city under two jurisdiction. Their school (named after the city, so obviously also a part of it) is located in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area and to get there they need to cross the river, which is a border. Perhaps this is totally normal and I'm just not away of this?
