I honestly can't think of a better character for someone to use than Hong when they start up. She has one of the easiest learning curves, and as long as you enjoy getting in the opponent's face (and occasionally triggering crushes) then she's ideal.

Sure, she has some of the weakest danmaku but spacing can make or break any character, even Patchy and other danmaku-oriented characters.

And once you learn to predict what's likely to happen, rather than blindly firing boolets, you'll be able to actually use those combos you spent so long in practice learning.

Why isn't Mystia in these games yet? A character that can limit the eyesight of the opponent seems like it would be very unique.
