i think we can all agree that this list is more or less completed, albeit peppered with personal favored selections, it exemplifies the "starter pack" of vocaloid (as the kids would say), and could be considered a "classics" list more than just essential. i think what we need is a brand new list; an addendum, in much the same style as the first to include anything left out or released since the first essential list was created which can be circulated in companion to the first list. i'll take it upon myself to modernize the organization a little bit, and i'll make sure anything i've listed is also in the essential crossfades folder, which i regret i've still not modernized or maintained. i guess this is an opportunity to do both of these at once. this may get messy.
