It got to the point where every time they made a post, five or six Anons would come in and create a sphere of /b/ around them, dedicating their time and energy to making their life on /jp/ so miserable that they left, predictably enough.

Ponpo-kun seems to be masochistic, a lot like ZUN. I don't know if Ponpo genuinely believes ignoring trolls here would make them go away, but apparently Ponpo didn't fucking learn from the first few times.

Anons here are very, very vicious even compared to the worst boards on 4chan. If they do not like you, they will go out of their way to cause so much rampant destruction wherever you post that the administration eventually may have no choice but to ban you. They will engineer bots to follow you around, spam your threads, report and sage for no good reason at all, and so on and so forth. They are the most LEGION-like of Anons, next to /b/.

My abrasive, aggressive behavior deters them, however. I don't enjoy having to act like a fucking asshole all the time, but it seems to be necessary.

Touhou is all about the moeblobs nowadays. Any serious business that it might have contained has been essentiallyed wiped off the slate since the introduction of Danmaku duels and tea parties.

SERIOUS BUSINESS Touhou is in no way related to Canon Gensokyo, nor is GRIMSOKYO an accurate representation of ZUN's vision.

I will never understand why the BAKA-loving, Lucky-Star-watching, IOSYS-listening secondaryfans continually become tremendously butthurt at the mere mention of anything other than Moe-moe Gensokyo, and promptly resort to childish screaming and hyperbole the instant GRIMSokyo or Serious Business is mentioned. Why they feel so threatened at an alternative view on Gensokyo is beyond me.

Personally, I take no offense to the secondaryfans who want Gensokyo to be a sterile environment where people only kiss each other on the mouth, there are no dickgirls, nobody dies, nobody has sex, nobody argues, and Reimu is Izumi Konata as a miko[i.e. Lucky Star In Gensokyo]. Nor does my butt hurt at the mention of FurrySokyo.

Touhou Project games are simple, repetitive bullet-dodging SHMUPS that somehow managed to escape the shackles of 1980, when people actually still thought bullet-dodging and SHMUP games were innovative and fun to play.

Cartoon pornography, music videos, and fanfiction, both in visual and textual form, are the only things breathing fresh life into these simplistic insults to one's intelligence masquerading as games, along with a healthy dose of fanservice from the creator himself.

Unfortunately, this is the reality of these things.

A lot of people often do stupid and inconceivable things because their friends will cajole and hamper them into doing it. Often, they lack the will to say 'no'.

I do not bend easily, which is why I have very few 'friends'.

If anything, I do not want anyone to be my friend, as I have found that friends are mostly deceitful bastards that will leech off you and try to force you into doing things that you do not want to do.

There are very few people who merely enjoy your friendship out there. Because of this, I prefer to enjoy the solace of myself.

In my opinion, there's never a reason NOT to take it easy.
