Thanks for the advice. I did set the deck to 20 new daily cards and unlimited reviews. I don't think I'm bad at remembering stuff, but I never used the 'Easy' button, to be sure that I learn properly every card, maybe that's why the number of reviews every day was really high.

As for reading content or VN and looking for words, I started doing it while learning Japanese grammar, it works and is kinda fun, but I don't think I'll rely only on that, so yeah I'm gonna try again with your method >>16766293.
