-Chapter 4: Youkai Mountain-
Cirno spun around in the air, dodging the crimson red slash of the Oni who intervened in the god squad’s, responding with a blast of an icy laser that the sword-wielding Oni carried.
The two of them flew through the destroyed sky of Youkai Mountain as the horizon was slowly put back together.

The angry Red horn Oni bated at the air again, Cirno barely moving out of the way in time. “Stop moving you pest!”

“Wow, you really are a crabby one aren’t you?” If she could’ve, Cirno would have held in her smile, but either way, she was happy that Suwako’s training was paying off in spades.
“Crabby! I have every right to my anger, bring me Reimu Hakurei, I WILL HAVE MY VENGEANCE, GIVE ME REIMU HAKUREI!” Cirno rolled her eyes. Like she was going to give up the location of one of her friends to some random crazy lady who came out of nowhere to assault her, as if.

“That's nice and all Miss, but I don't even know who you are.” Although while the Oni was doubtless threatening, Cirno mostly just felt awkward, since she wasn't used to being on the receiving end of these types of monologues it was both a new experience and something which gave her perspective on.

“Cirno! Big bird at twelve o’clock!” Suwako yelled over the commotion, Cirno was half surprised she returned so soon. Although that was good news since she’d been sent to interfere with Megumu while Aya was escaping.

Again, Cirno split into four, just in time for three of them to dodge the talons of the Tenma. They only had time to register the passing of his shadow after he was already nearly ten meters out, the Cirno he had picked up promptly exploding in a [Perfect Freeze]. Tengu were fast most people couldn’t really visualize how fast, although Cirno had enough experience fighting and being beaten by just about everyone to know how fast the Tenma was moving, fast enough it looked like he could move in the strange angles Reimu or Yukari could.

The three remaining Cirnos suppressed a collective shiver as they moved in unison, letting her attention drift from the massive bird as Sanae and Shou once again caught up to him in a flash of movement.

“PAY ATTENTION TO ME!” Kongara yelled, taking advantage of Cirno’s distraction to launch a beam from her horn, killing one of the Cirno’s in a fiery explosion and causing the other two to turn back to her.

“Sorry, sorry.” Cirno really did forget how fragile she was when compared to everyone else in the fight, luckily even with the Oni’s appearance, they would be finishing this whole thing off rather quickly.

“Yeah, we don’t know what Reimu did, but it couldn’t have been that bad.” Cirno didn’t really understand Kongara’s motivation, failure just meant you’d have to do better later, yeah swearing vengeance is cool and all but some people just took that sort of thing way too seriously for her tastes.

“Fools! Any offense to me is a crime, no matter how small, for I am KONGARA! The-”
The remaining two Cirno’s decided to tune her out, and hope that no one else got caught up in the fighting. Even if she couldn’t play the most important role like Reimu was, she was happy keeping people tied up.

“Hmmm…” Koishi hummed audibly as she starred out of one of the many great stained glass windows of the Palace of Earth Spirits, outside the protests had died down. Now it looked more like a procession of some kind, and maybe a bit of a Buddhist one. Although they didn’t feel anything like Byakuren and didn’t remind her of the temple.

Part of her wished she had taken Aunn with her, the ability to detect and identify religions and religious things would’ve been useful, but Koishi barely knew the dog.
“You’re worried.” Kokoro was standing next to her.

Koishi gulped as she surveyed the surface of the mobs' mind. “Yes.” Sometimes, words were better at communication than thoughts for Koishi, thought, was an unfiltered stream, and only those with pure desires or had a nature contrary to lying.

She could be misreading the situation, intellectually she knew from her research into them, she knew that a vast majority of people, even Oni, did not act out immediately in response to
