MG seems to be in a rather tight position—every day without a payment processor is incredibly costly, as they're also a third party store. If they don't get one soon, they'll also start losing confidence from said third parties, and also from casual customers, since they will no longer see them as a reliable store.

The amount lost to lack of preorders alone is already significant, from what one can guess. I can only imagine how much they'll lose if they let a release date slip by.
