Sidenote: Did you know that natural blonde hair in young women is pretty directly tied to a high estrogen level? Most women lose it after having a kid or two, and it darkens to a light brown / dirty blonde as her estrogen levels drop and her testosterone levels (Women do naturally produce a bit, although they are much less sensetive to it than men and the level's like 20 times lower) increase.
Now, if a young girl were to get a hysterectomy or otherwise have nonfunctional ovaries, her hair would naturally stay darker than if she didn't.
It's not circumstantial evidence, it's science.
