I wouldn't even say we're in a clear unraveling atm. Tsunku backed up Yuuka's grad by basically saying (in his posts, can't find the links atm) that Smileage and MM were made with the intention of swapping people in and out and that change is NOT a scary thing. He also said instead of thinking of it as "changing", think of it as "evolving". So, at the very least, he seems optimistic about the future and wants us to feel the same.
