Finished. Spoiler-free review:
>Great translation, only noticed one typo.
>Good elaboration of established characters, a few uncertain scenes cleared up, practically everything from the original is [completely] wrapped up.
>New characters were, by and large, very good. One in particular serving a great purpose in the story.
>The epilogue for Michel/Giselle was short and sweet. I would most certainly impregnate the shit out of modern Giselle; that long flowing hair is hot as hell.
>Music is, unfortunately, not as good as the original. There are a few standout tracks that are just as good as the best of the original, but overall the quality is less consistent. There are some pretty phoned in tracks that just sound like generic VN stuff.
>You do sometimes feel like, "Okay, I get it, we've already been through this," around near the 70% range of the main story, but it isn't so bad. There's enough new content in the latter half to pull you through, and some great, new CG as well.

Overall, pretty good. I'd give it an 8/10 or something, while the original was something like a 9/10 in my affections. It's around 10-12 hours long overall.
