I disagree. Bernkastel's actions have led 18 people to death several times, and she did so without giving them any respect.
Beatrice caused, directly or indirectly everyone to die several time, but she didn't played with them like Bernkastel and Erika did, especially Erika, who mutilated their bodies. But the difference is that both Erika and Beatrice paid the price. Beatrice always die at the end, and find herself unable to escape Rokkenjima even when dragged kicking and screaming by Battler, and Erika get killed. And it was a touching scene.
