The Royal Mamono Realm is where Lilith (Mamono Lord's) castle is, and the city surrounding it. It's basically the epitome of all the dark mamono realms and the center of monster power.

Lilith was the most powerful monster in the world when she became Mamono Lord, and she's only gotten stronger since then.

Plus, actually changing the nature of monsters is not part of the Mamono Lord's power set. It's something Lilith got through unique circumstances. If someone else took over they would not have that power.

Both happened. Succubi had the instinct to kill men in the former age, and often sucked men to death. Some enterprising succubi though on a whim started creating "rooms" to keep men in, studying how to keep them alive and healthy so they could feed on them for longer periods. In this way they learned more about humans than other monsters usually did.

On the other hand, some succubi, harpies, lamia, etc. basically any intelligent and humanoid types, did on occasion manage to suppress their killing instincts and awaken to a love for humans. They would even form something like married couples. Lilith was one such monster.

That is monsters did not become all humanoid and female when Lilith became Mamono Lord. That wasn't, and isn't, a inherent power of the Mamono Lord. Rather it was something extra she did afterward with the support of a huge range of monsters and possibly a number of gods.

It is Lilith's power, not that of Mamono Lord, that is keeping the old settings at bay and trying to instate the monster girl settings as the new setting for reality. The only way for the setting to change to a "monster boy" one would be for some monster with the same abilities as Lilith to replace her and get the same support/good luck Lilith got.

Plenty, offhand I recall the meeting she had with the Wondering Scholar, the mention that she sends balrogs to suppress huge volcanoes, the orphan girl she adopted and made into a lilim, the diplomatic trip she took to Dragonia to smooth things out with their queen, etc.

And of course, that day she "convinced" the tentacle plants to never again harm a human.

Actually that's not quite how it works. The intended purpose of the Mamono Lord is to use their link to all monsters to coordinate the monsters to cull human populations. Applying a new "base nature" was not within their power. Rather their "base nature" was something the chief god maintained via their settings for the world.

What Lilith did in opposing this setting was unprecedented, but also not complete. That is why if she were to die and none of her daughters were powerful enough to replace her, then the original setting would reestablish itself. A new mamono lord would not be required for this, monsters would turn into human killers without one.

At present Lilith's settings are basically holding back and in continual conflict with the chief god's settings. Part of her ultimate goal is to truly cement her settings as the new reality for the MGE world, so it can maintain itself without her.

On rare occasions there were individuals of other intelligent monster races that managed to resist the urge to kill humans and instead learned to love them, even entering marriage-like relationships with them (its just that none of them managed to become Mamono Lord and do the unprecedented things Lilith did). However, most monsters back then were not sapient and couldn't do this.

Also, the various Sabbath leaders have become pretty popular, since several of them are as likable and well-rounded as characters as older favorites like Saphirette are. Particular favorites are Runya Runya herself, Greilia, and (to lesser extents) ones like Marune and Shirokuto.

The guide also gives us our first sorta image of Lilith. And the lore on how mana and magic works and the many specific articles are quite fascinating.

Despite it being called the Sabbath Grimoire, I'd say only around a quarter of it is actually devoted to loli stuff.
