>My name is Savir. I am the most trusted servant to the princess, the Pharaoh herself. My lady lives quite the luxurious lifestyle, which she has graciously given me the honor of having a taste of every day. Every morning, I wake the princess just at the sign of first light from the sunrise. She has requested that I wake her my kissing her on the lips, and saying precisely these words: “Arise from your eternal slumber, my dear Princess.” She claims to have found this from a fairy tale she heard of during her time in Lescatie.

>My lady loves her baths. She takes at least three every morning, afternoon and evening, with only the finest crafted soaps and the richest salts from the Dead Sea to bathe in. She even requests that I accompany her whenever she decides to do this. It is occasionally whilst I am in the midst of doing other housework, and I am usually asked to postpone my duties to join her. My lady does love her baths, you see.

>Next, I am charged with helping the lady comb and brush her precious black hair. Ever since we were both children, she has grown her hair past her back, so this is quite a chore that takes some time. It does, however, soothe her impatience to sing a song to her as I do so. She always loves to hear someone sing to her.

>Come the breakfast feast, I wait on my lady hand and foot while she dines on exquisite food and drink. On occasion, she will request that I taste the food for her before she eats. I am not entirely sure as to why, as she trusts the cook dearly and knows he has been with us for many years. I would never say this aloud to her, but I suspect she simply wishes to grant me a taste of her meals. She truly is too kind. After she has dismisses me, I accompany my fellows in the servant’s dining chambers. The food there isn’t as grand as that of our lady, but we make it a feast of our own nevertheless.
