Twitter's shitty core design is well suited for their language.

I mean the SMS-inspired 140 character limit per message, except on twitter there is no technical byte limit. It's an arbitrary 140 character limit that allows multibyte characters. That makes even kana >200% efficient compared to normal alphabets and kanji is far ahead in information density. Japs can communicate in one tweet what would take a long thread for westerners.

I also want to say that it's almost like a natural evolution from i-mode but that's a whole nother topic
