Whoops! Forgot to mention: The blog I got Dokusa's cover from is at http://instanthumanjustaddcoffee.blogspot.com/ so go check it (and every other blog I linked so far) out! Music blogs are fantastic sources.

Another fun release comes with Naikaku's "Shell". Picture if Dream Theater didn't suck, throw in some vaguely latin flute and trumpet influences, and you've got one sick album that I think I'm gonna go listen to right now actually.

It's that time once again, folks. Night draws nearer, and I'm about ready to call it a day, so one more round of uploads and comments!

This one is, again, one I'm hearing for the very first time, but I really like what I hear. Naikaku's "Shell" starts out slow, mixing rock with a flute of all things, giving the whole thing a Spanish or Italian feel. Just when you think you have a handle on their sound, though, they switch it up - and it's just as great as ever. I'm glad I picked this one up, and recommend that you do too.

That said.

I'm afraid I haven't heard of Hirakawachi 1-chome, but I'd certainly love to! Please, share an album or two if you have the time. I'm sure I'm not the only person present whose curiosity has been piqued.

I have to point out the opinionated nature of that statement, so as to avoid an argument, but it is an opinion I agree with heartily. Jazz is among my favorite genres - hopefully that hasn't been too apparent from the thread.

Second verse, same as the first. Please, share some of your music! If it's anything like Panicsmile, the people who've been looking for it (Myself included) will at least walk away with something in their hard drives, and perhaps a new point of reference from which to continue their search.

Delicious contributions. Having listened to the album (Did you have as much fun as I did with it?) I can't wait to put these on now. Thank you very much.

>>everyone I missed
Thank you very much for both your contributions and your kind words. I know it seems like it's just cursory at this point, thanking everyone, but I mean it. Knowing that people appreciate what I'm doing and even join in yourselves makes it that much easier to really want to do.
