1. A crime is a crime
2. Thinking of something as wrong because it is a crime is sort of begging the question.

Hence, I wanted to somewhat jokingly point out that it's technically actually illegal in places to pirate things. (and that you probably have no problem in doing so). If doesn't matter if theft is less than murder, if you carry out either, you're a criminal just the same.

Although to expand on the second point, something being a crime doesn't make it wrong to do or fantasize about just because it's criminalized. It's a crime to indulge in otaku media, e.g., viewing or downloading this image in certain western countries, but it's not wrong to do so just because it's not allowed.
