You say all this shit, yet japanese people are not happier than people in america, or denmark, or australia, or mexico. Most likely they are less happy.
If living in japan doesn't make you happy, what is it that you dream of? Walking around and seeing cool looking architecture and cherry blossom trees and polite, identical-looking masses of little asian people?
I dated a japanese girl in college, she thought nothing of japan, knew nothing about its history, thought the coolest thing ever would be to live in LA and be like an American TV show. Her circle of other japanese international student friends was the same. They all wanted to get jobs in the US or Europe if they could. Most didn't because their english wasn't good enough, so back to nihon they went.
I went to japan, it was cool, I want to visit again. I don't want to be japanese lmao. Stop weebing
Living in japan as a westerner could be cool. Only for a western company/US govt/etc. though, entry level salarymen make literal US fast food wages
