You pay $40 (in amazon gift cards) so you can get a set of points. You can use those points to DL movies. However, HD movies cost way more than the points you're allotted but you can buy premium points to break the cap (you can not mix standard points with premium points). There is a cap on how many premium points you can buy a month so you might have to stock up on quite a bit of premium currency to DL just 1 HD movie. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
