Honestly, Lucid dreaming requires a bit of commitment and practice. It took me about 8 months to get down. I've been lucid dreaming for about 6 years. The payoff is worth the effort though.

In my most recent dream I was drifting through the cosmos from universe to universe. As I was flying through nebulas, a song so beautiful I can't even describe was playing. I now know how Odysseus felt as he listened to the sirens. Eventually, I came across a planet. In comparison to my body it was about the size of a fitness ball. On the planet I could see the tectonic plates moving and civilizations rising and falling. I dug my fingers into the planet and created mountains and oceans. I knew how it felt like to be god. Then I woke up, and had an existential crisis.

I highly recommend getting into dreaming. Taking omega3 fish oil pills really helps make your dreams more vivid and isn't habit forming like melatonin. A dream journal is also helpful because it trains you to remember your dreams better.

If anyone has any questions or needs tips, I'd be happy to answer.
