And, uh, a little thing called Kara no Shoujo. You know, that MangaGamer title that bombed despite having lots of gameplay similar to Phoenix Wright.

Come on, it's been this long and nobody even corrected the obvious problem? What happened to /jp/? I haven't kept up much lately, but sheesh.

Cartagra was fan translated by the same guy who also did Kara no Shoujo. They got C&D'd and after some negotiations the Kara no Shoujo project went official with MangaGamer. MangaGamer eventually released Kara no Shoujo, but there's no word on Cartagra yet. JAST is completely unrelated to this matter.

>kara no shoujo taking so long
As others have pointed out, that's a MangaGamer title, not a JAST title, and it will be released tomorrow.
It took so long because they had to port the game to a different engine to make the important Notebook feature work in English, as well as the failed voice negotiations. They tried to get the agency to be reasonable, but they insisted on asking fees multiple times the total revenue of MG's top-selling games.
