The people that believe they know enough are always deluding themselves. Ixrec would later admit that he shouldn't have translated Cross Channel so early, but it didn't stop him from fucking up on every thing he did after that. Complexity is irrelevant when you're as incompetent as the average visual novel translator, and the only difference between official and fan translations has always been that official translators get paid for their trash.
