Strictly speaking, you didn't, but the reason I say that is because the previous event was much, much, MUCH harder to farm points. I literally spent two full days at the end farming it on low AP and I got somewhere around 30k points for my effort. I spent about 4 hours today and I've gotten almost 60k points. When I say "it doesn't feel like you need to," what I mean is "it doesn't matter because even if the 30 AP wasn't as efficient, it still gives you more points than you'll need for a two week event."
