Obvious and oft-repeated bureaucratic stuff aside, how difficult is it to buy property out in the inaka if you're a foreigner? A small town would also be fine though I'd worry about making my neighbors uncomfortable, even with my efforts to learn the language.

My stupid dream is to buy land and have a little home away from the city but still within a reasonable distance from a train station so I can go to civilization if I need to.

In addition to that, are there telecomms services out there? My present job is working by remote so having an internet connection is paramount.
