Alaska is awesome. I live in Southeast Alaska, which does not get too cold in winter (we had one week of single digit weather), and not too hot in summer. It rarely breaks 80, and I can't stand 80 and up. I'm surrounded by evergreen trees, beautiful mountains, clear streams and waterfalls, and the ocean. Plus the people here are pretty great, friendlier than most people down south. Here in Juneau at least, anyways.
