how so? style copying teaches you a lot about your own drawing style for your own betterment. of course it'd probably help if you first know the basics since art copying is something amateurs often start with and unfortunately get stuck on, such as basing their entire drawing techniques off another artist's style which usually results in heavy symbolic drawing and reluctance to learn anything else since they're satisfied with being able to "draw like their favorite artist".

rest assured, i'm only style copying for fun and to learn. also there's nothing lazy about trying to get something to look right and originality is overrated.

besides i'm sure he doesn't mind, he did give me his brush settings after all.
