With this exact set up, I didn't get sent of-course a single time after E-5 hime either.
But I don't know if that setup would be enough to achieve getting to the boss every time, since for the about 5 sorties I changed 1 plane from Musashi for another 46cm, I did get derailed - meaning I must have just bearly fulfilled that, or have insane luck when it comes to that node, which seems highly unlikely.
