Well, regarding eramegaten, pretty much your first entire playthrough is the tutorial, two weeks at the very least. It's not a hard game and you're not pressed for time at all.
The only really useful advice I have is that macca is much more rare than yen and is mostly received through the sexual training half of the game (sale/facilities) and is used for the good stuff in Macca exchange.
Also, go through options and read them, most things like pregnancy are opt-in. Eng-development and release branches have more things added like icons in the UI (so you know what's what better) and dungeons having graphics.
