My mother used to work in an old-folks home. She said her daily duties were turning old people over in bed so they don't get bedsores, changing old-people diapers, feeding old people, and giving them baths. She said the job was fine and had alot of job security but this one time she had to take care of a crazy old woman and they usually administer downer drugs to keep the person calm during service. For some reason the person snapped out of it, and scratched my mom's face up and bit her and shat and pissed all over the place.

That was the day my mom quit. I hope my parents die before I have to take care of them like that/put them in a home.

My best friend's girlfriend has IBS. She seems like a normal person, but for some reason whenever she sleeps, she has a tenancy to shit a little. The two of them are both the 'ronery' types, and are quite glad they found each other and even though they both have weird issues (she has IBS and he has IBS as well as OCD for cleanliness and is a compulsive spender) they respect each other so much that they see past each other's problems and have been together for over 5 years now. She has to wear diapers to bed for hygiene reasons. He doesn't change her in the morning as she believes that it's her fault that she has the problem and doesn't want the burden to be on him but he loves her and is quite willing to do so if it were to make her happy.

I think it's great that they're together, but imagine the difference in their feelings about diapers out of necessity, instead of many's love for diapers as a unnecessary fetish. They don't have a fetish for it at all, it's just a necessary part of their lives. Feel lucky you have a choice, Anons.
