I've been enjoying Smile and I started watching the first season (Futari wa). I like how they actually punch and kick the fuck out of the bad guys.

Too bad it looks and feels like something made in the 90s. I also wish they played off more on the duo's differences, when I read the description for the series it seemed like they'd have a lot of conflict between eacho ther and take some time and effort to actually work together effectively. I was hoping for something sort of like Gunbuster but for a younger audience, in a way. I'm halfway through and there was only one episode of drama so far (very early on as well). I hope that maybe Heartcatch or Splash Star will make the pair's differences more of a plot point or issue that needs to be solved.

Yayoi, Miyuki, Wolfrun, and AkaOni are my favorite characters in Smile. Have some Pissu, /jp/.
