I'd like to depict Futo as male and show more relation to people such as Kamatari and Moriya, and definitely Kanako, the god they possibly worshipped and Suwako, who is the driving motive behind his betrayal. All of them only in the flashback, since the story would still focused on the Taoists.
I find it interesting that Futo is slighty connected to several characters in Touhou series.

About the personality and conflicts in the main story I have to think it later

I indeed prefer to make a doujin than fanfiction.

It's either I have to polish my drawing skill or just let the ideas stay circling on my head as daydream and imagination.
