Well, in that scenario Sanae and Nazrin were sparring to the goal of improving Sanae's fighting abilities. As a youkai Nazrin is naturally stronger, and if Sanae performed miracles (i.e. cheated by asking gods for power she doesn't have) maybe she would get stronger; but as they were fighting just with technique this doesn't apply, and Nazrin wins that shit hands-down.

Of course the doujin starts with Sanae being an arrogant dumbass and picking fights, so this is to be expected.
