Yup, it was pretty good for its caliber (accurate, powerful, decent barrel life) but existed in a world where everyone else had sensibly moved onto bigger guns and thus was a pointless pea shooter in comparison. Might had been actually useful if bongs had had a fleet of 13.5" armed first gen superdreads around which they could had modernized (it being designed to fit into 13.5" turret's for sake of making testing easier) but those had scrapped outside of like 2 vessels which had been demilitarized and turned into training ship.
