For anyone struggling with E3 Hard, here's what worked for me. I tried CTF and even used up to 11 torp bombers yet they would never even scratch the himes and resulted in retreat at node H 11/12 times. Switching to STF and sacrificing the historical routing to put in better ships worked decently for me. I made it to the boss 6/11 times with this fleet. The accuracy penalty the himes incur against the main fleet was very visible, as they missed way more often when I used STF as opposed to CTF. I used route support until last dance whereupon I switched to boss support. The picture is what remained in last dance after LBAS, opening airstrike, and boss support. Ended up getting a 完全勝利. LBAS setup was 1 fighter 3 bombers on both bases. Definitely glad to be free from this hellhole. Good luck fellow anons.
