It appears there will be a farther tightening of content allowed on Steam going forward. Huniepop received a notice from Valve that asked them to farther censor the content within the Steam version, or else the title will be removed from Steam. Obviously, there are quite a number of Japanese VNs from pretty much all the developers who have similar content on Steam now which would be in question if these happen to be the new standards, and if Valve is addressing a title that has been on the platform for 3 years with roughly 800k owners with these new restrictions, they would likely apply retroactively to pretty much all VNs on the platform now.
