Tomoka hasn't come to bed yet. What could she be doing? I wonder. She only told me to leave her alone before leaving. I decide to get ready for bed and not wait for her.

I accidentally bump into Ema on the way out the door. She and Yae just got out of the bath. I apologize for bumping into Ema.

I find Mikoto-neechan in the living room watching television. 'Have you seen Tomoka?' I ask.

'Tomo? No,' she answers. I wonder what she's doing.

Izumi comes in and finds Mikoto on the couch. 'So this is where you ran, what sort of example is it to the younger kids if you run away from your homework?' she drags Mikoto away. Izumi asks if I want to join in doing homework together but I tell her I want to do my homework with Tomoka. Izumi invites me to play in their room when I'm done.

I don't find Tomoka back in our room. Oh well, I decide to go to the bathroom. Before entering I knock. Tomoka's voice is panicked inside.

'Tomo, have you been inside the bathroom this whole time?' I ask.

'Y... ye...yes, is that, is that a problem?' she says. Her voice sounds pained.

'No, it's not a problem, are you ok Tomoka?'

'I ... I'm ... I'm fine, please, please leave.' she says. It sounds like she's struggling with her words.

'Tomoka, Tomoka! Are you in pain, do you need help?' I throw open the door.
