>And you're not using tl;dr correctly. tl;dr is supposed to be a summary of a long question. What I quoted would be the perfect tl;dr.

Uhh that tl:dr was for those "the fuck is this faget on about? This thread is about how my oshi is better than yours" people.

I think AKB fans in general are way too lenient. They could just release Twinkle Twinkle Little Star as the next single and the fans would still buy two million of them. There is this feeling of complacency - we're at the top now; whatever shit we do the fans will lap it up. I just don't feel they are ambitious enough to REALLY be as successful as they could be.

>mainstream success, appeal to wide audience
Which they haven't really done since Heavy Rotation. Take for instance, Utada Hikaru or even Hamasaki Ayumi. They have those in mind but you'll be hard-pressed to say their music as simplistic, lazy, and devoid of creativity. Interestingly Sugar Rush, which was produced by a gaijin, is actually tolerable. Yes it's simple, but fuck me if it's not catchy.

However I do find some of NMB's songs enjoyable. Stuff like HA!, Hoshizora no Caravan, Kitagawa Kenji and Kamonegix are at least a bit different.

But yeah DISREGARD ALL THESE I SUCK COCKS. And Jurina's belly button.
