Not locked, but with a good enough doorknob that simply doesn't let the door open without being turned.
You know, this big, heavy duty ones that take a lot of turning and jiggling to open, that make a LOT OF NOISE when you open them, so people inside the room you're entering can clearly hear the door being opened, slowly, with effort.
