You know Wyverns can shift to their pre-DL forms, right? All draconids can. Some just choose not to so they don't scare their husbands. So while the idea of a little wyvern girl carrying her master is cute, she can easily turn into a full-sized mount for him. Magic armor takes care of the protection.
