By the Seihou era, the Chicken is no longer in the service of any group within the Gensokyo of the Future, but a few ancient surviving vehicles have become possessed by spirits after a century of abandonment, having since been overgrown by vines, moss, and foliage. To these haunted tanks, the Grand War never ended, and they diligently defend the forests and plains from non-fae, hunting down those that dare trespass on their domains with a cold, mechanical efficiency.
