Since it's finally here I guess I can spill some details. As some of you might remember, Mio's given a couple of hints on the existence of the hoodie like during a twitter Q&A on December/January where she lightly teased it. Then before day 2 of Holofes 3 she confirmed that the hoodie is in production but didn't give a time frame on when it'll be sold. The reason she brought up the hoodie topic then is because she saw a couple of people wearing bootleg versions in the expo and thought to herself "Those look really shitty, I could make better looking ones for my fans." Then during the one million celebration mengen, Mio announced she'll make the hoodie her celebration merch. She wasn't sure to make this her one million merch but decided to go for it in the end, the mousepad incentive didn't work out after all. Mio's been working on the hoodie for a long time now, with the first sample going back to August of last year. And to be really faithful to Izumi-papa's design she's also had to revise the design a couple of times. Mio knows a lot of people wanted the hoodie and it was really hard for her to stay quiet and not reveal too much information before the proper time (this remains to be the case for other projects she has as well so look forward to those).
