Ok but read more of the print works/games. The only real way to dispatch a yokai is to use spiritual attacks. That's their weakness. It's the trade off for physical damage not doing shit.

How did they do it? Before they ran away and fucked up their mission. They didnt bring weapons and the weapons wouldn't even really work well in space and their suits are incredibly restrictive. Not only that they couldn't even FIND the Capital itself. Clownpiece was making fun of the Americans iirc. Or maybe she was mocking both factions.

I know what you mean. ZUN is very skittish when it comes to having his characters actually use their gods given abilities for some stupid reason. But if you look around you'll see instances of characters doing crazy destructive shit after long stretches of time of them doing nothing. Suika destroying the moon alongside the heavens (which are infinite in size) while drunk. Okuu being a living nuke or Marisa's Mini-Hakkero which annihilates anything on screen and was said in some printwork or game to be able to turn a mountain to ash. Given the other shit we see in the story this isnt too crazy.

Oh ok. Yes that does make sense. It's pretty stupid that the devs are scared of broken abilities, considering what characters like her can do. They should have taken a more old school approach and have every character be broken in one way or another so it balances out. Of course if there's like one or two stand out abilities that make playing the game hell then modify those ones but dont remove them.
