Haruhi is part of a moe hell of moe girls in everything being moe. All of it's major girls are moe type characters. Even Haruhi herself stated a short trend of girls like herself.(Or at least anime being made with girls like her.) Yuki is just neo-emotionless weird girl who really has strong emotions. Mikuru is one of the main things people called a moeblob.

It also has several actual moe spinoffs, like one about Yuki and Ryoko living together. The actual series is just some haremish light novel anime but it's not detached from the moestorm.

>"moe" doesn't tell me anything about it besides there's cute girls.
That's all it takes for people to watch it.

And that's what's the problem is. A focus on having cute girls that hit that spot with fans over the rest of the series. They could make so many plots, but they choose to make it about someone attending school or the personal lives of girls, they could have so many characters, but they choose young girls with even younger faces/bodies wearing typical anime style outfits. Is there really a reason it has to be Girls und Panzer and not Kids und Panzer? Are the schools in the series all all girl's schools? It couldn't just be adults playing tank wars as a professional sport? I mean it and SW are also military otaku type shows, so what are the girls for, if not to sell it to a wider audience of moe-hungry otaku?

But going back to the first topic, moe hell is more than pointless shows supported by their cast of cute girls. It's also about the girls in the shows needing to ooze cuteness and innocence, even to the point they just started removing guys altogether. But then that's even more boring so they started making them have relationships with one another. Because somehow that's still "pure".

At least that age seems to be mostly over, but I wish this idol anime trend would end too. If they can just ban that, MMO/fantasy anime about going to MMO-like worlds, and meta otaku anime for like 5 years, anime would be saved.

You seem to have moe for Miho. I guess the show was a success.

Moe is a crap trend and a crap word.

I don't keep folders like that and I'm not sure this is even from 4chan's /a/, but I've never had a reason to repost it and I probably shouldn't have.
