because EN has a large audience. the investors don't really "hate" america. they had no real problems with coco, they didn't really like her but she didn't really like them either.
it's only after her taiwan spiel that they went after her. now if they axed coco then and there, they can alienate both JP (their main audience) and EN (an emerging audience) for not much gain.
however, if they get coco to quit they know covershills will defend them. they'll go radio silence for a week or two and it'll be over, by the next gen coco will be forgotten just like aloe.
