Even if you don't have a paid/builder account.
They are just not visible to the general public.

I advise you to upload to Danbooru. Although it does suck dealing with the upload limits and approver's whims, you could still get away with uploading everything if you play the game right. Even if it doesn't get approved, it will still be uploaded and online somewhere. Even if you don't know the source, they tolerate unsourced art as a last measure.
