For me, it was noticing the fact that doll prices seem to be somewhat stagnant, and possibly even cheaper than they were a decade ago, when I first looked into into them as a lark. Part of me expects the prices to jump significantly with inflation fairly soon. But I also expect the prices to lag a bit in the current/upcoming global recession. It's a high end "recreational" expense, and that type of business usually takes a pretty big hit as people tighten their budgets. Supply plus lower demand generally equals lower price. If/when the economy stabilizes, I expect the price of rubber tits and ass to go up.

But that's just my retard-on-4chan analysis, for what it's worth
